Loved it. Clean and super fast. Tell them it's your birthday and they will celebrate you. Will definitely recommend when you in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at ixtapa, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The menu is a delightful mix of traditional and modern Mexican dishes, and everything we ordered was bursting with flavor. The tacos were a standout, with perfectly seasoned meat and fresh toppings that made each bite a joy. The homemade salsa and guacamole were some of the best I've ever had, adding a perfect kick to our meal. Plus, the margaritas were refreshing and expertly crafted, making for a fantastic pairing with our food. Overall, ixtapa offers an unforgettable dining experience with exceptional food, warm hospitality, and a lively ambiance. I can't wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings! Definitely a five-star experience!

Best place for date night and or family night!! Been coming here for 30 years, for a couple years it was 3 nights a week until we calculated our drink bill and realized that's where nearly 4,000 a month was going!!!! Love the team at Ixtapa Lake Stevens Keep it up!!

Been coming here for years. Met a friend for lunch, seated in the bar. Clean, staff friendly, drinks well made, food tasty as always. This place has the BEST chicken soup around. I ordered a double side of the fried jalapenos as my 'salad' The others were happy with their food also (a couple combo plates). Decent sound level, the staff we saw were masked and attentive without being overbearing. Service was prompt.

Dinner at the Ixtapa feels a lot like visiting friends and family. We have been eating there since they opened and have celebrated many birthdays and special occasions there. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. When I need comfort food, I go for the enchilada and chile relleno combination. When I am eating light, the shrimp salad is fabulous. The special menu offerings are also great. The margaritas are also grand. My favorite is guava.

We got recommended to Ixtapa after a bad experience at another restaurant on my mom’s birthday. I have to say it was everything we could’ve hoped for and more. They don’t have no funny business there, it’s all straight up. Deliciously hot food that we all thoroughly enjoyed, very polite and prompt service, and a wonderful atmosphere in the bar. Ordered the Crunchy Chicken Street Tacos and those were phenomenal. At the end of our visit there, they surprised my mom by bringing her out a giant purple sombrero, a shot of tequila and a wonderfully sang birthday song for her. Made the day quite wonderful, especially after our experience at the previous restaurant just an hour prior. So so appreciate the staff in there for making it special. I would absolutely recommend Ixtapa in Lake Stevens, 5 stars!

Excellent Mexican food here. Lunch prices are reasonable, many dinner plates are just under 20. Staff is very friendly. Our only frustration today was the bus girl didn't seem to speak English but pretended to, we asked if she could put in a dessert order for us, ahe nodded and walked away. After far too long later, we had to order through the original server. It'd have been nice if she told us she didn't understand or got someone for us. Other than that, 5 stars because of the food and service. Not as nice as the Monroe location for ambience but good food. We had the ixtapa burrito and ixtapa wrap, both were wonderful. Recommended.

It a good place for lunch and dinner good service and looks pretty good and the music is nice
